When golfing becomes social in the Shanghai shipping industry, CCL takes initiative to form
a club where people could gather together, talking business, as well, exchange technique.
Therefore, a golf team named after CCL was established in Jan, 2002.
Team members come from various Shipping Lines, Shipping agencies, NVOCCs, Freight Forwarders
and related enterprises within the industry.
CCL Golf Team holds monthly tournament, and it sets good platform for its member to make a
good test of challenge while enjoy nature beauty and develop sportsmanship.
The team member expands quickly from a few to 70 some, within 4 years up to now. Members are
playing progressive game, apart from a number of single handicapped golfers, a group of people
is between 11-20, a great achievement, isn't it? in considering that most of their history is
below 3 years.
Most importantly, golfing enhanced friendship among the members, just like the nature of the
game: people are getting used to turn the competition to cooperation, not only on the course,
but also with the business as well.
